Residential Services
Host Homes – Personalized living setting designed to support individualized needs. A Host Home is a community living setting where the person receiving services lives with an individual/family. The host home provider (also referred to as Independent Contractors) provides the necessary supervision, training and/or supports required to meet the needs of the person placed in the host home. The person receiving services will have their own bedroom and will share common space in the home with the provider, the provider’s family and possibly another peer individual receiving services. The goal is to establish a positive relationship with his/her Host Home Provider that will promote independence, community inclusion as well as meeting the person’s goals, dreams and desires.
All services and supports are monitored routinely by qualified and trained representatives of Altra Services. We will ensure that each individual is receiving the supports and services as outlined in their individualized service plan. Altra Services will maintain the highest quality of services and follow the expectations of the local Community Centered Board, The Division of Intellectual Developmental Disabilities, Industry Standards, and Federal rules, regulations, policies, procedures and best practices.
